Modems Supported by DLS-1
The following is a list of modems that are supported by the DLS-1 software. Each
modem has been compatibility-tested by DSC.
• Practical Peripherals PM1200SA Mini 1200 baud external
• EMP 1200E 1200 baud external
• Hayes Smartmodem Optima 2400 (+FAX 96) 2400 baud external
• Hyundai HMD-1200 1200 baud external
• SupraModem 2400 Model 50-2400-0 2400 baud external
• DSC MD12 Modem 1200 baud external
• Stradcom Pocket Modem 1200 baud external
• Cardinal MD2400EX 2400 baud external
Modems Not Supported by DLS-1
The following is a list of modems NOT supported by the DLS-1 software. Each
modem has been tested by DSC. This is not a complete list. What is not implied
here is that any modem not listed here will work. Due to the large number of
modems on the market, it is very difficult to account for the compatibility of every
modem. The only modems officially supported or not supported are modems we
have tested at DSC. This list is meant as a partial guideline only.
As new releases of this manual are issued with the DLS-1 software, this list may be
updated to include more modem names.
The following modems are not supported by the DSC DLS-1 software:
• All non-Hayes compatible modems
• All modems that do not support the Bell 103, 110- baud standard
• All Hayes Smartmodem 1200 modems
• All Capetronic modems
• All INMAC modems
• All EVEREX modems
• ATI 1200 baud internal modem
• Cardinal MB2450 2400 baud internal
• Hayes Smartmodem 2400 3124US 2400 baud external
• Hayes Smartmodem 2400B Model 230AA 2400 baud internal
• Practical Peripherals 2400 baud external modem
• SmarTEAM Micro 1200 external modem
• GVC 1200 baud external modem
• US Robotics Sportster 1200 external modem
• US Robotics Sportster 2400 external modem
• Incomm Data Systems Midget PC 12 internal modem
• ACEEX DM-2400 2400 bps external modem
• GVC SM24 2400 bps external modem
• Motorola FastTalk 1200E external modem
