The first time a new file is opened, the File Information screen is displayed. The control

panel’s telephone number must be entered here if a call is to be initiated from the

computer. After entering the phone number, press [ESC] to exit the File Information

screen. A window will appear asking if you wish to save the changes. Press [Y] to save

the changes.

Press [ALT]-[P] to enter the Program Area menu. A “tree menu” representing the

DC1664 programming will be displayed. Use the arrow keys or the mouse to highlight

the “Inst/Dnld Code” section, and press [ENTER] or click to select the section. The

Installer’s Downloading Codes screen will be displayed.

Change the Downloading Access Code to match the code programmed into the

control panel. After making the changes, press [ESC] to exit from the DLS Data screen.

A window will appear asking if you wish to save the changes. Press [Y] to save the

changes and return to the Program Area menu.

Use the arrow keys or the mouse to highlight the “Section (E8-F0)” section. Press

[ENTER] or click to select the section and display the Special Applications Data screen.

Change the Panel Identifier Code to match the code programmed into the control

panel. After making the changes, press [ESC] to exit from the DLS Data screen. A

window will appear asking if you wish to save the changes. Press [Y] to save the

changes and return to the Program Area menu.
