4.10 Operations Log
Selecting this function will display the Operations Log Menu. The Operations Log file
stores records of all activity performed on the system. Operator name, date, function,
DOS file name and time are recorded. All the possible log entries recorded are as
follows:
Log Entries:
Access - when access records were examined.
Arm - when a panel is remotely armed.
Batch - when a Batch File is executed.
Create - when a file was created.
Delete - when Work Files are deleted.
Disarm - when a panel is remotely disarmed.
Download - when information was downloaded.
Download LCD - when information was downloaded to an LCD keypad.
Edit - when a file was edited.
Failed Attempts - when an attempt to enter the program has failed, or any other
attempted function has failed.
Install - when the software was initially installed.
Log Off - when an operator has logged off.
Log On - when an operator has logged on.
Modify - when the default file has been modified.
Operations Log - when Operations Log was examined.
Panel in Alarm - when the panel was in alarm.
Print - when a file was printed.
Program/Computer - when program/computer configuration was changed.
Reinstall - when the software was reinstalled.
Rename a File - when a Work File was renamed.
Stored Opslog to Diskette - when the entire Operations Log was stored to disk.
Transfer - when Work Files are transferred.
Upload - when information was uploaded.
Operations Log Menu
This menu provides several options for viewing the operations log record. The
operator can view the entire Log by operator, by date, by file name or by function. The
menu also permits printing either the entire Operations Log or just selected entries.
